1. About Me

I am a graduate of The Ohio State University, with a degree in Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence Specialization). In addition, I minored in City & Regional Planning.

As the combination of my academic major and minor suggests, I am keenly interested in the intersection between Computer Science and City Planning. The rapid growth of technology is having previously unimaginable effects on our urban areas - both good and bad.

I believe that, if used carefully and methodically, data and software can empower local leaders and improve the lives of residents.

3. Experience

Software Engineering Program (SEP) Internship

In this 10 week internship program, I worked with 5 other interns on a project within Chase's Branch Operations Product. We aimed to improve the customer's experience in a branch by creating a system allowing one time authentication between all bank applications. We achieved this by developing a Android mockup of the Chase Mobile Application, a Vue.js Web Application, a Java Springboot API, and an Oracle SQL Database.

For this 5 week internship, shortened due to the effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic, I worked with 6 other interns on a project for a local nonprofit organization. Experience Columbus, the umbrella organization representing area businesses, wanted to incentivize residents to safely support stores and restaurants. We created a mobile application based on React Native that would act as a rewards system.
